It is always such a pleasure to work with our dear friends at Sebastian. They are an honest, hard working family and each spring they celebrate their employees during a dinner held at Copper River Country Club. This year we did some elegant arrangements in silver containers with lots of fresh pink and spring green.

{ wolf lakes park bridal show } march 8
It's official... the wedding season is upon us! It was so fun to see many of our Wolf Lakes Park clients with their families and friends out tasting food and enjoying the wonderful weather, at the annual Open House.

This year we added a touch of rustic glam to the Lakeside aisle with soft greenery, wood stumps, hydrangeas and fresh oranges from the ranch. Trying some new ideas always gets me so excited!
We used our barn wood columns with the natural dark lanterns for the aisle entrance.
Up at the alter, our arrangement sat on one of Wolf Lakes wine barrels - our dark cast iron urn was filled with lush spring florals and finished with gold mercury votives and oranges.
Hanging lanterns and dainty bottles with blooms completed the decor in the pergola.

{ new goodies }
February is a notoriously slow time for weddings in my neck of the woods. So, this week I thought I would share some new items that I picked up this winter for the coming year. One of my favorite pieces are these adorable clear chunky vases with dot details - a perfect choice for that vintage feel. Mercury glass continues to be so popular - I especially like it mixed in with other pieces.
We also have found some fun wooden lanterns with metal details - a gorgeous high/low mix.
Chunky silver candle sticks will work great with elegant taper or pillar candles. I think we are going to line these up - down long tables - maybe add in some crystal pieces for a very fun wedding coming up in June.

All items available for rent. Enjoy!

{ orange with grey chevron } may 10
I have wanted to get my hands on some grey and white chevron table runners for awhile now...I am happy to share that we were able to get this fabric in LA recently and make table runners for a recent community event. We collaborated with the event coordinator to do this evening event in grey and white with lots of orange accents. I loved the results. These chic white vases are also new to the Brown Bunny family! Enjoy!

Easter Flowers
Thank you to my sweet clients Paul and Bev for trusting me with their very special Easter Sunday flowers. They provide flowers for their church on Easter and I was so honored to play a part in that tradition this year. We incorporated natural wood boxes and cast iron urns with green and white ornamental kale along with champagne Sahara roses and white snap dragons. It was natural yet elegant.

Ag One Community Salute - March 2
It was a thrill to play a small role in the recent Ag One Community Salute. The Fresno State agricultural development office organized a wonderful event at the Convention Center for 1200 guests to honor Stewart Resnick. We were very honored to provide the event centerpieces and other various decorations.
Guests were welcomed to the cocktail area with these two arrangements - Paramont provided all of the tangerines - seen here submerged - and topped with lush citrus colored floral arrangements. We created these two barn wood pillars to hold the arrangements.
Even the restrooms were decorated with flowers - I was so excited to have a good excuse to use these dried eucalyptus rounds salvaged from our ranch.
The event colors were clover green with tangerine orange, yellow and coral. We used our clover green fabric table squares for the centerpiece anchors. The whole look was very fresh and felt like spring. Our cold storage trailer full of happy flowers!

My faithful assistants...making sure our oranges are nice and clean!
