I have wanted to get my hands on some grey and white chevron table runners for awhile now...I am happy to share that we were able to get this fabric in LA recently and make table runners for a recent community event. We collaborated with the event coordinator to do this evening event in grey and white with lots of orange accents. I loved the results. These chic white vases are also new to the Brown Bunny family! Enjoy!

{ holly and mike } may 18
We were so honored to have partnered with Holly and Mike to help get them hitched this past weekend! They celebrated with family and friends at the Schoolhouse Restaurant east of Fresno. The day was gorgeous - the details perfect and the bride was glowing! Brown Bunny Flowers was fortunate to have helped construct new wine barrel table tops, wooden tables, hanging lanterns, backdrop fabric skirts and of course the flowers! We even got the chance to use the old fig "sweat boxes" that I lovingly hauled down Freeway 99 last year. We used them to construct two backdrops - filling them with cute objects, flowers and candles was the best part. Holly had so many wonderful ideas and used her graphics design to create lots of fun and unique touches. There wedding was so sweet and fit perfect with the lovely venue. Enjoy!
This was one of the most beautiful and breath-taking cakes...the champagne cake by Frosted Cakery mimicked the brides dress - it was stunning and the perfect balance to the grooms rustic antlers! We hung a fabric skirt behind and added cream lanterns above. My sweet husband loved on me by making this new round table top for the wine barrel. Thanks honey!
A special thanks to Mike's mom, Nancy for all her hard work and attention to all the details. It was such a pleasure.
All props used at the Bannister-Freeman wedding are available to rent from Brown Bunny Flowers {wooden crates and boxes, table tops, chalkboards, columns, lanterns, fabric skirts, door, window pane, mini chalkboard table number signs and ladders.}
Head table...flowers from the ceremony were moved inside the boxes and on ladders.
Lemonade Stand...Grab a Drink!

{ brian & kristen } may 11
Kristen and Brian had their wedding reception out at the Moravia Winery in Fresno. What a beautiful vineyard to have surrounding all of the guest tables! For Kristen's bouquet, we used different shades of purple…lavendar roses, purple stock, purple lisianthus and purple wax.
I just loved the centerpieces for the reception. Kristen had collected and put together all of the containers for the centerpieces. They were different sized tin cans wrapped in burlap, lace, and yarn. So cute! We added white and different shades of purple flowers to all of the pre-made cans.

{ wedding rehearsal flowers } may 9
It is so fun for me to arrange flowers for small intimate gatherings. One of my most lovely clients provided us with these beautiful antique water pitchers. We filled them with garden blooms for her sons rehearsal dinner party. I used "Carolina Jasmine" vines, anenomes, green hanging amaranthus, sweet peas, ranunculus, roses and lilacs.

{ silk flower arrangements }
I'm very excited to share with my friends that one of the coolest shops in Fresno is now open to the public! Designer Flower Center, located at 3450 W. Gettysburg Avenue, has previously been a "wholesale only" store. This year they have made the leap and are now open to the public. The owners have impeccable taste and scour the country for top-of-the-line silk flowers and home accessories. They have also added a line of home furnishings by Parkhill Collections. This stuff is gorgeous - like what you would find at Pottery Barn but a bit less expensive. As a small business owner I encourage you to buy local - we support our neighbors and our local economy. Check them out - I gaurentee fabulous finds!
I also wanted to show you these pretty silk arrangements I made recently - all silks were bought at Designer Flower Center. What I love about their shop is the wide selection of silk items that are hard to find and very unique - berries, foliage and gorgeous blooms. You can hardly tell these are not real.
