September 18, 2010 - Jessica and David's Wedding

Jessica and David chose a gorgeous palette of colors that consisted of  persimmon orange and charcoal grey with touches of white. The flowers were provided by Brown Bunny and Janet Seibert provided all the decor. 

September 12, 2010 - Nicki and Richard's Wedding

On Sunday afternoon, the soft afternoon sun streamed into the 10th floor windows of the Grand in downtown Fresno, creating an ethereal feeling of excitement and peace all at the same time. For their wedding, Nicki chose a soft and romantic color scheme of champagne and gold with dark purples, magentas, and fuchsia pinks with a hint of green. 

I loved making Nicki's bouquet - it had these luscious purples, deep pinks and magentas with super romantic ivory spray roses.

Her attendant's carried smaller versions of Nicki's bouquet, just without the ivory spray roses.

For her two flower girls, we create silk kissing or "pomander" balls for them to carry. Silk flowers are often used to avoid any breaking or loss of flowers and to also ensure that the child has a special keep-sake from the wedding.

As the guests entered the ceremony, they were greeted with an elegant arrangement of purple stock, dendrobium orchids, dahlias, and hanging green amaranthus.

For their ceremony, we used our two silk Bay Laurel trees in large chocolate urns decorated with fresh antique hydrangeas and magnolia branches.

In the adjoining reception room, we created a taller centerpiece using Manzanita branches with attached magenta dendrobium orchids with a "pop" of color in purple lisianthus and green hanging amaranthus. The base of the vase was filled with fuschsia rose petals to give it a bit more color. The centerpieces looked beautiful atop the champagne overlays.

On the remaining guest tables, we used Janet Seibert's metallic candle holders and created a lush arrangment to sit in the middle.

September 11, 2010 - Kristen and Byran's Wedding

This wedding looked so fun and elegant at the same time. The family chose a palette of purple ranging from dark eggplant to light lavender. We used fun galvanized tin buckets and the bride's family made wooden table numbers using chalkboard paint. The tin buckets were filled with dark purple or "black grass" which is actually a type of eucalyptus....burgundy dahlias, purple stock, lavender roses, and purple lisianthus.

Kristen's bouquet was full of texture and color. 

For the ceremony, Kristen rented our our iron pillars which we decorated with flower packets and greenery. Down the isle we hung smaller tin buckets full of purple and lavender flowers.

On the other half of the guest tables, we used our iron candelabras with a soft and romantic floral arrangement on top along with a "pop" of color at the base. The table numbers were slipped into these lower roses to help guests find their table.

On the bar, guests were reminded that "beer and wine" were available thanks to oversized chalk-board painted hearts made by the family. They looked very festive placed inside a large arrangement that we made using that fun dark purple grass and large dahlias.

September 10, 2010 - Rebekah and Barret's Wedding

Rebekah's bridal bouquet was bursting with fall color as we ushered in the autumn season this past weekend. We used orange dahlias, tan and terra cottat "Leanodis" roses with white stock, pink hypericum berries, dark orang roses, purple lisianthus, eggplant fern curls and burgundy scabiosa.

August 28, 2010 - Allison and Peter's Wedding

A gorgeous day out at beautiful Copper River! Allison chose this amazing shade of blue called "Blue Haze" and elegantly paired it with chocolate brown and white.

Her bouquet had cream hydrangeas, cream calla lilies, and white roses.

Her bridesmaid's carried all white bouquets with white stock, white lisianthus, and white spray roses.

The ceremony was decorated with our fabric covered columns, and lush arrangements. The tall arrangements had white roses, white hydrangeas, white stock, and cascading ivy.

Inside the reception area, the two tables were decorated with a few tall vases filled with brown curly willow and white stock. All of the vases were finished with chocolate and blue haze ribbons.

The second centerpiece was a low cylinder arrangement full of cream hydrangeas, white stock, white roses and white lisianthus.

And the third arrangement was a taller cylinder vase with one large cream hydrangea submerged with a large white floating candle.

Allison and Greg chose a simple, and extremely elegant, cake designed by Eddie's Bakery. We added a few packets of white spray roses along with a hint of the bride's blue ribbon.

August 27, 2010 - Angela and Josh's Wedding

I felt so fortunate to play a small part in the wedding of Angela and Josh. A wonderful family and a beautiful wedding. Angela chose turquoise, corral, and pink accented with silver for their wedding. Angela rented our white chair covers and turquoise organza sashes as well as our silver charger plates.

Angela's bouquet was a luscious mixture of orange milva roses, pink roses, caramel cymbidium orchids, pink and orange mini calla lilies, and orange and light pink spray roses.

The bridesmaid bouquets were made with dark orange and pink roses.

The garden ceremony site was decorated with white organza fabric on the pergola. Pink peonie pomanders hung from our shepherd's hooks along with oil lamps which lined the bridal isle.

Over under the reception pavillion, we used the peonie pomanders as additional centerpieces. We placed them on top of our square vases with white ribbons and rhinestone buckles with turquoise stones.

The second centerpiece design was a tall cylinder vase with submerged swirled coral corral calla lilies and caramel cymbidium orchids. The piece was completed with turquoise stones and a large white floating candle.

Additional centerpieces were silver painted boxes with a pedestal vase full of floating corral Makara orchids and floating candles above a base of orange rose petals.
