I loved the colors and subtle theme for the wedding of Aimee and Greg. Throughout the wedding, hints of branches and birds were incorporated. Aimee used a soft palette of lavender, light pink, mauve and ivory for their wedding. We used two shades of lavender roses, cream cabbage roses, light pink spray roses and mauve lisianthus.

{ shot gun shells } britney and gerrit - july 2013
I just had to share these little beauties - we had a wonderful client at the end of July who found inspiration on-line for these wonderful shot gun shell boutonnieres. I'm a sucker for tid-bits that are different, so I jumped at the chance to try and make these for her. She provided all of the empty shells and I filled them with baby's breath. Each shell was finished with twine - giving the unique boutonniere a natural way to be attached to the guys jackets. I was so happy they turned out - so fun to make and something different for the guys.

{ cheryl and jim} september 13
Cheryl came to me a few months ago and asked if I would make her a brooch bouquet. I said I had never made one but I'd love to try! She was so trusting and easy to work with. She provided me with a gorgeous brooch from her mother for the center of the bouquet. She asked that I include birth stones to represent her family members; along with a symbol to celebrate Jim's service in the Navy. Over this past year I collected brooch's that I thought would work well for a fall inspired bouquet. I ended up using 35 in all!
One of my favorite elements was this pair of "love birds".

{ andrea and enrique } september 1
Andrea and Enrique were married at Tuscan Gardens last weekend! For their ceremony, we lined the isle with our shepherds hooks and hanging mason jars filled with flowers. We also placed rose petals down the isle and created two full arrangements to fill our large tin buckets for the alter area.
Andrea's bouquet….
Bridesmaids bouquets….
For the first centerpiece design, we used the hanging arrangements from the ceremony and placed them on top of our wooden boxes filled with moss. We also added our chalkboard table numbers.
The second centerpiece design was three arrangements, one wine bottle and two mason jars, filled with soft flowers. We finished off all the tables with our silver mercury votives.

{ stephanie and nick } august 24
We traveled up to the Sierra's this past weekend to the gorgeous Tenaya Lodge just outside of Yosemite. Stephanie and Nick tied the knot and partied with friends and family in this beautiful outdoor setting.
Stephanie and Nick were married out on the terrace - the setting was so clean and elegant - allowing the natural setting to take center stage.
