{clare hill and mike peoples} august 25

Lovely flowers for a lovely bride.  Clare was so easy going and such a pleasure to work with.  Her attendants wore pale pink chiffon dresses - all flowers were in the champagne, peach, ivory and light pink.

Wanting a small pop of black in your bouquet?  Consider these scabiosa pods painted black.  I loved the interesting texture they provided along with the soft feathers and ivory flowers.

Bridesmaids carried dark red bouquets with black scabiosa pods and small black and white feathers.

I loved these peppy colors - magenta, hot pink, dark purple and orange with touches of turquoise.

{ brian and bonnie } august 18

I loved working with Bonnie.  She was such a joy, even on her wedding day, which was on the warm side, she was smiling and so happy.  Her positive attitude and obvious joy helped everyone else forget the heat and remember that this was a special day!  I really admired her for that.  All of her sweet sisters and friends wore different shades of coral and champagne.  I loved the look and can't wait to see the photos.

It was so fun making these peach, cream and khaki paper puffs with my mom for behind the head table.

{ johannah & jace } august 4

Thank you to the Sorenson family for allowing me to be a part of their very special celebration.  It was a sincere pleasure and a blast.  I was so thrilled to see every little detail come together so beautifully.

{ lacey and casey } June 23

Every day I am so thankful for the special business that God has blessed us with.  We are so fortunate to have the chance to work with wonderful families.  As I look back on pictures from Lacey and Casey's wedding I feel such gratitude.

For their wedding they chose a color scheme of black and white accented with "sherbert" colors of light peach, pink, yellow and green.  I loved it!

Large moss covered initials were used on the alter table.  Small packets of flowers were tucked inside on the bride and grooms initials.  During the ceremony they transfered their flowers out of their own pots and "planted" them together in the center.  I thought this was a really cool idea instead of the tradition unity candle ceremony - especially outside where it can be hard to keep candles lit.

Larger lanters were placed on moss covered vases.  Creative pictures of the couple were displayed on each table.  Special touches like this really make a large event like a wedding feel more intimate.
